Neal Stephenson
I have started reading Anathem. It is as gigantic as everything else he's written during the past few years. But we have till September before it needs to be written about. Just as well, really.

I tore through my advance copy in less than a week. It is an extraordinary work, a must read for anyone who claims to be a fan of speculative/science fiction. It is my hope that this is the book that finally catapults Stephenson into the pantheon occupied by Asimov, Dick, Clarke, et al. Anathem proves he is more than worthy.
I'll be interested to hear your thoughts, once you are finished.
Andrew - I am so very jealous you got to read this early!
Thought this would interest you:
